The child member of the brotherhood who will proclaim  the Holy Week of Baena in 2026, JOSÉ MARÍA VACAS RODRÍGUEZ.

He is a 13-year-old member of a religious brotherhood from Baena who is in his second year of secondary school at the Espíritu Santo School in Baena; he belongs to the 6th Squad of White-Tailed Jews, to the Brotherhood of the True Cross of the Brotherhood of the Sweet Name of Jesus, Holy Christ of Calvary and Solitude of Mary Most Holy, to the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Rosary of the Royal Archconfraternity of Our Lady of the Rosary and Most Holy Christ Resurrected, and to the Mother and Patron Saint Brotherhood Our Lady Virgin of Guadalupe where he was a member of the Choir School until his move to the Youth Group in which he actively collaborates in all activities.

 

Este IX CHILDREN'S PROCLAMATION The Holy Week program in Baena, led by José María Vacas Rodríguez, will take place on the first Sunday of Lent, February 22, 2026, at 12 noon in the Church of Santa María la Mayor.
